The 10th annual HoHoTO holiday party happened on December 8, 2017. Organized by Together, with the help of sponsors and volunteers, this year’s event raised over $10,000 for YWCA Toronto’s Girls’ Centre and a variety of workplace inclusivity initiatives. We couldn’t be more pleased to have been a part of supporting and organizing this important annual event.

The Girls’ Centre itself is a safe space for girls aged 9-18, of all ethnicities and belief systems. The girls have access to food, activities, and learning programs 7 days a week at the centre. They also have the chance to access opportunities in business and technology, which is further encouraged by our collective participation in year-round Together initiatives.

Our CEO, Lee Dale, presented over $10,000 to YWCA Toronto’s Girls’ Centre on The Mod Club stage.

All proceeds raised will contribute to year-round initiatives and events specifically for digital practitioners of the next generation, including the much anticipated Girls’ Tech Tour.

On December 8, 2017, hundreds of individuals from the digital community came together for a night of drinks, dancing, networking, photo ops, and to celebrate inclusivity. Thanks to DJ Neecy and DJ Digital, the dance floor was never empty!

The holiday season is fast approaching, and there’s one event you don’t want to miss out on this year.

Initially known as “the party that Twitter started,” HoHoTO returns to the Mod Club on Dec. 1, bringing the digital community together for its eighth year.

Say Yeah is excited to sponsor HoHoTO once again in efforts to fund YWCA Toronto’s Girls’ Centre, the official charity partner of HoHoTO.

Last year, HoHoTO raised $30,000 from a combination of ticket sales and sponsorships. We’re hoping that our combined efforts with the community achieve an amount much greater for the Girls’ Centre this year!

From 8pm to 2am, mingle with individuals from the tech community and dance like nobody’s watching, all for a tremendous cause!

Public sales for HoHoTO are now available online. You can also buy a physical ticket at Startup Trivia Night on Sept. 27. Experience a night of pizza and drinks, and test your knowledge on the history and details of startups in Toronto and in Hollywood.

Once again, we’re proud to be supporting HoHoTO, coming up Friday, December 11. We’ve been participating in this important Toronto charity event since day one, back in 2008, and we couldn’t be more pleased to be involved with this year’s event.

We’re opening our doors for Startup Open House this coming Oct 30th. That runs from 4 to 7pm.

This is a chance to visit dozens of startups across Toronto, along with those of us in the west end, including Say Yeah!, Indiegogo, Freshbooks, Stylekick, Nuvango, and a half dozen more in Liberty Village.

Tickets are now on sale for HoHoTO, taking place this December 19, all in support of the Daily Bread Food Bank.
